| Biography/History | Jamestown College was founded in 1883, six years before North Dakota even became a state. A new Chapel and Music Hall was completed in 1917. Voorhees Chapel, a gift from Mrs. E. Voorhees of Clinton, New Jersey, beautified the campus even further. The basement was originally used as the new dining room and mandatory chapel was held five times a week. |
