| Transcription | "Jamestown/ Stutsman County Centennial 1883-1983, Jamestown, North Dakota. Built in the early 1900's. Stands today in the Valley, during WWII the Cupola was an observation tower. It also was used as a Fire Hall. The upper level served as an early Library and a classroom for students after the south side school burned down" -- Printed on back of photograph. |
