Mary: "Even though Cookie replaced my aunt (Eva Plunkett), both of them became lifelong friends. … It was a joy to see her (Inez Cook, 'Cookie') meet the five o-clock train. She and Rev. McCoy would be there. Cookie and my aunt would have this competition to see who could scoop each other. Cookie would get so mad when auntie scooped her." |
