| Biography/History | The Soo Line Railroad Company built the Soo Cafe, better known as "The Beanery", in August of 1911 for workers and passengers on the Soo Line Railway. It was run by the Lasely Company and known for its good food. The Beanery closed when freight train services were discontinued. It was turned into a bunkhouse and offices in 1962.
