| Biography/History | Hamilton became a town in 1882 as a result of the railroad coming to Pembina County. As a result of the railroad and its location in the center of the county, Hamilton grew in size. After the railroad lines were changed between Grafton and Walhalla, expansion in Hamilton stopped. |
