In keeping with the past superb autumn season and present mild and fascinating winter weather, New Year's day was ushered in under the most happy auspices possible. A clear blue sky, sun warm and genial and no snow, the populace made merry by indulging in a picnic and base ball game. Blockades and tobogganing at a discount in Dakota. Temperature, 55 degrees. W.
