| Transcription | "These are the hired men on the Huston Farm near Hunter - about early 1900's. Donated by Mrs. Carl (Annie) Skue, native of Hunter, N.D.; My mother couldn't recognize all the men - But the dark one on the left in the back row is Albert Anderson, the tall man 6th from the left is Peter Kragstad, 8th from the left is Carl Skue (my Dad). The foreman of the crew was a man named Emil Jabnson, but Mom couldn't pick him out - (Cornelia Skue Fatland widower)"--Handwritten on back of photograph. |
