| Biography/History | J. C. Lenarz bought the store from Steven Ley in 1917. Bisbee was named after Andrew Bisbee who had traveled to Towner County from Maine. In 1885 he homesteaded there and in the years that followed pioneers from Europe, Canada, and other places in the United States settled the area. |
