| Description | View looking South down 5th Avenue in Valley City, N.D. There are two and three story buildings lining the dirt road, and wooden sidewalks. Most of these buildings are storefronts, and there are signs for Home Bakery, Farmers & Merchants National Bank, Keeley Institute, Doctor DcVaux, Printing Office, and Furniture on the left, and signs for Drugstore, Horse blankets, ME JATEN (picture of shoes) Maker, a large clock, and at the very end a sign that says Photographer, probably the Fisher + Company photography building. Straight down the street the buildings of the college can be seen. There are people on the sidewalks, and carts and horses on the street and along the edge of the street. There is a man with a bicycle where the front wheel is extremely large, and the back wheel tiny, standing on the right side of the road. |
