| Description | View of the Independent Order of Odd Fellow Convention in Valley City in the 1890s. There are rows of men in uniforms with hats standing in front, a group of men on the right have a banner that says Fargo, N.D. Behind them are a few men in uniforms holding instruments with bells on the far left, also behind the men in uniform are spectators, horses, carriages, and a two story brick building with a flag on the roof. There are stores on the bottom floor, such as a clothing store, and signs for Signs for: Clothier, M. Carlson, Milwaukee …. Beer, and Enerson & Fridd. On the second floor there is a balcony on the right with two people on it, and more people look out windows. |
