Biography/HistoryThe first Gay Cat Day was held in May of 1920 and the event lasted until May of 1927. "The traditional Gay Cat Day is an annual feature of the closing days of the school year. Usually the last Friday in May is set aside for this day of hilarity and sport." (1926 Bison Yearbook)
